Booking Conditions 

 

These conditions apply to all bookings. Sea Taxi is an open boat that offers a truly unique and thrilling amphibious boat experience. Depending on weather conditions, be prepared to feel the wind in your hair and taste the salt from the sea....

 

Being close to nature and the elements; sun, heat, cold, wind, rain, salt and sea spray makes this a truly rewarding experience which is made more enjoyable if you are wearing appropriate clothing. In certain conditions passengers may get wet. We offer complimentary use of Musto clothing and Uvex Goggles subject to availability for Saundersfoot Departures. If you depart from a different location, please wear clothing appropriate for an open boat. Embarkation often takes place on soft wet sand. Please wear suitable footwear. Flat shoes with soft soles, no high heels. Storage space on board is limited. Protect your electronic devices.

 

All sailings are weather dependent. If your booking is cancelled due to poor weather or delayed for more than 60 minutes, you will be offered either a full refund or the option to rebook. Fares are based on travel dates and times. Passengers under the age of 16 (Child) on the date of travel must be accompanied by an adult. At the time of booking the following information will be required, passengers' first names, surnames, dates of birth if under 18, gender, any medical conditions and special requests.

 

We reserve the right to refuse passage to any person who in the opinion of the skipper or crew is unfit or unable to travel, or deemed to risk the safety protocols, or operational feasibility, of the craft. The Skipper of the craft has absolute discretion whether or not to accept a passenger. In such cases, the fare for that part of the journey which has not been performed will be refunded. This is the limit of our liability to you.

 

We advise those who have Heart, Neck and Back medical conditions and pregnant women not to travel. If you travel with a pre-diagnosed condition, then travel is entirely at your own risk and you should obtain advice from your own doctor before travelling. It is your responsibility to ensure if you have a medical condition, disability or restricted mobility that your needs are made known to us prior to booking.

 

The Sea Taxi embarkation procedure involves climbing two steps, sitting on the rib tube and rotating your legs into the boat. If you have any concerns about the boarding procedure, please contact us before you book.  Any passenger who has a disability or reduced mobility, even if temporary, must inform us at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled departure, so that we can look to provide adequate assistance at embarkation and disembarkation of the craft and to assess our ability to carry you.

 

Sea Taxi has a legal operating weight limit. Some passengers may not be allowed to travel. We will make every effort to accommodate passengers travelling in a group where the weight limit comes into effect. Should we be unable to carry you in a safe, operationally feasible manner, we will inform you immediately and you will receive a full refund. Maximum average weight per person 82.5kg 13st.

 

Smoking (including electronic cigarettes), alcohol or drugs are not permitted on board any of our craft.

 

You must not bring dangerous goods, firearms or knives on board any of our craft.

 

Seating will be allocated as you board. For our passenger’s safety, wearing of lifejackets is mandatory and safety harnesses should be attached to your lifejacket while onboard. Please remain seated unless instructed otherwise by your Skipper.

 

We advise passengers to apply sun block, and to wear eye protection/sunglasses. We advise leaving portable electronic devices ashore. A dry bag is available on board to hold small personal items. Lockers are available to hire at our Saundersfoot Check In

Maximum average weight and height restrictions apply. There is no specific age restriction, however, young babies and tolders may be too small to fit into our child life jackets.

Animals are generally not allowed on board.

Saundersfoot Departures - Please Check In 25 minutes before your departure time to receive your boarding pass, lifejacket and safety briefing. If you do not arrive to meet the check in requirements, your seat cannot be guaranteed, the boat may depart without you.

 

Where we have arranged other services for you, such as food, other transport, accommodation on land, we are acting as your agent in booking such services and the terms of that supplier will apply to you and we will not be liable to you in this matter.

 

In accepting a ticket to travel on our craft you agree to be bound by these Conditions. In booking any journey you also act as agent on behalf of any person travelling with you on your ticket, and you undertake on behalf of all such persons that they are and shall be bound by these Conditions.

 

We use Social Media to share our customer experiences aboard Sea Taxi. If you do not want us to publish your image on Social Media sites please let us know.
